Making It!

miscellaneous objects

On the left is a torso cast in ciment fondue by Tanya Perrera, an approximately two and a half times life size copy (from photographs) of a Michalengelo sculpture.

Following round in a clockwise direction is a large batique (Sarah Wells), an enamel (Victoria Miller - who made the prototype TellyTubby costume in her holiday at the end of her second year on the course for Rag Doll Productions), (both the latter two pieces are hardly visible), a one and a half times life size goat's skull/headdress (Louise Bains) then a three times life size fibre glass cast from a clay modelled life study by Gary Allson, a glove puppet of the Duchess from Alice in Wonderland (from the Tenniel drawing) by Clare Rumsey, a lion mask by Amy Davis and, finally, foreground right, a quarter scale life study in plaster by Robert Martins.

All the above graduates from the course are now following successful careers as freelance makers/designers.
