Making It!
Examples of an additional application of clay modelling and the incorporation of paint effects. This series of reliefs are all plaster casts of clay modelling from subject matter of the students' choice. The Archimbolo 'Fish Man' is a transcription into relief from the painting as is the Van Gogh on the right and the Mucha poster next to it. The two Madonnas and children are replicas of examples in the Victoria and Albert Museum.
